About the role

As a Server at Vivie, you'll be at the heart of our community, providing exceptional dining service to residents while fostering meaningful connections.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping residents select their meals.
• Ensure safety and sanitation by setting and clearing tables, arranging seating, maintaining cleanliness and condition of flatware and glassware, performing dishwashing, and organizing clean dishes in designated areas.
• Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members, proactively communicating and participating in special projects, assisting in other areas of the building, attending in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Collaborate and team with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow emergency protocols.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.

Pay and Schedule

• Schedule: Part Time | 6:30am-3pm | Every Other Weekend | 16 hours per pay period
• Pay Range: $16-$19 (non-exempt) based on location, qualifications, and experience
