Role Summary
As a Server - Beer and Wine, you will guide Guests to order food products and/or beverages to enhance the movie-going experience. This includes greeting Guests, making menu suggestions, managing transactions, and ensuring alcohol consumption is in designated areas.
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from Guests
- Manage transactions on assigned register, maintaining proper cash balance, and reporting concerns to a manager
- Verify Guests' age for alcohol transactions and ensure consumption in designated areas
- Use suggestive selling techniques and collaborate with the kitchen team
- Wipe down and sanitize high-contact areas and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
- Adapt to cleaning tasks and report safety and security issues
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proof of age for serving alcohol
- Basic food handling training and local/state certifications
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Energetic and friendly attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and basic math
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to respond with urgency
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
- May work in a standing position for extended periods
- Noise levels may be moderate to high
- Must be able to work in a smoke-free workplace
