The Server - Beer and Wine role is a vital link between our Guests and the kitchen staff. You may be asked to cross-train and work as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher, as staffing needs require.
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register (proper cash balance, distributing correct tickets or inventory, properly logging off when away from register, reporting concerns to a manager)
- Verify identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Use suggestive selling techniques consistently
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitor safety and security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proof of age (must be 18 and in some states 21 to serve, pour, or mix alcoholic beverages)
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state-mandated certification, health card, or food handler’s permit where required
- Complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Provide excellent Guest service
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities; must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Respond with a sense of urgency
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater
- Noise level may be moderate to high at times
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time

Pay
Pay Range: $12.00 - $14.85 per hour
