Server/Bartender- The Palace Saloon

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, dependable Server/Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering excellent guest service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, team-oriented, and thrives during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and drink menus
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Ensure timely delivery of orders
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Verify guest age and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies
• Create seasonal or featured drink specials as needed
• Enter orders accurately into POS system
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
• Maintain clean tables and dining areas
• Assist with side work (rolling silverware, refilling condiments, cleaning, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends is required
• Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
• Previous experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
