Server/Bartender - Bahama Bar

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Server/Bartender at the Bahama Bar! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Server: Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating, describes specials of the day, answers questions regarding menu items, takes food and beverage orders, and delivers food promptly after preparation.
• Server: Follows-up with guests to ensure satisfaction, replenishes items as needed, participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests, and maintains an organized workstation and side work duties.
• Server: Sets up and breaks down golf stations every shift, is accountable for checks and cash transactions, and utilizes the Point of Sales System.
• Bartender: Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control and inventory, and maintains inventory records.
• Bartender: Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures, communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager, and performs opening and closing duties.

Requirements

The following are required for this position:

• Valid driver's license
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
• Alcohol Awareness Training

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certificates/Licenses: Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training

Skills

Preferred skills and abilities include:

• Ability to read and speak English
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
• Knowledge of POS system
