The Server plays a critical role in delivering a refined, highly personalized dining experience that reflects the legacy of Wolfgang Puck and the standards of a Michelin-level restaurant. As a primary point of contact for our guests, the Server combines sophisticated product knowledge, polished service technique, and genuine hospitality to anticipate needs and guide each guest through a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver polished, intuitive, and highly personalized food and beverage service throughout the guest experience.
- Execute all steps of service with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food, ingredients, preparation methods, wine, cocktails, and other beverage offerings.
- Guide guests confidently through the menu, making thoughtful recommendations based on individual preferences and dining occasions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with culinary, pastry, and beverage teams to ensure flawless execution of timing, modifications, allergies, and special requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and continuously monitor the table, responding with discretion and urgency.
- Maintain precise service timing and awareness of the overall progression of the guest experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Michelin-level service standards, dining room etiquette, and fine dining techniques.
- Prepare and present guest checks and process payments accurately and discreetly.
- Maintain a polished, organized, and fully stocked service station throughout service.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work to the highest standards.
- Assist with table setup, breakdown, and reconfiguration while maintaining attention to detail and service flow.
- Collaborate closely with fellow servers, support staff, and leadership to ensure seamless execution across the dining room.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, refinement, and service excellence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of fine dining server experience.
- Previous experience in a Michelin-starred, Michelin-recognized, or similarly high-level fine dining restaurant strongly preferred.
- Experience in a luxury hospitality environment with rigorous service standards preferred.
- Previous experience using a POS system.
- Demonstrated understanding of refined dining room etiquette, formal service standards, and hospitality principles.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay
$16.90/hour + tips
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally.
- Use hands to handle objects and tools, and operate service equipment.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects.
- Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work conditions may require evening and weekend hours. The employee generally works in an indoor front of restaurant and kitchen environment with exposure to heat from ovens, hot foods, steamers, cleaning chemicals, fumes, equipment, and metal objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud dependent on specific work site and/or equipment operation.
