About the role

The Whistling Kettle has been serving award‑winning teas and fresh, flavorful food since 2004. With locations across the Capital Region, we’re known for our warm atmosphere, creative menu, and commitment to quality. We believe great food starts with great customer service—and that’s where you come in.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Handle payments and ensure accurate transactions
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Friendly, upbeat personality
• Prior experience in a full-service, sit-down restaurant
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, when we are the busiest
• Team‑oriented and dependable
