Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and provide basic menu information
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, including special requests, and relay them to the kitchen
• Deliver meals and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to basic requests
• Clear tables, reset for new guests, and assist with dining room cleanliness
• Process guest payments accurately and follow cash‑handling procedures
• Restock supplies, maintain service stations, and support team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Success Measures

• Provides friendly, consistent service with positive guest feedback
• Completes orders accurately with minimal errors
• Maintains clean and well‑prepared tables, stations, and service areas
• Works effectively as part of the team and follows direction from supervisors
• Demonstrates growing knowledge of the menu and service procedures

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests)
• Ability to read, write, and determine wait time based on company procedures
• Ability to visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Works well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment, adjusting to fluctuating customer volume
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Ability to work in varying temperatures

Pay

The pay range for this role is $10.35 – $12 per hour for locations in North Creek, NY; Old Forge, NY; and Killington, VT.
