About the role

True Connection Communities (TCC) is a rapidly growing Senior Housing platform focused on the Active Adult and Independent Living segments. Team members serve as a bridge between residents, families, and the company to provide the best experience. The Part Time Server role is crucial for delivering a best‑in‑class dining experience, being the first and last contact with residents and able to resolve service issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepares food stations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or service environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Working Conditions

The Server works in a dining room and spends most of the shift on their feet, carrying trays of food, dishes, or glassware that are often heavy. During busy dining periods, the position is under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.

Schedule

Must be available 3:30 pm–7:30 pm on weekdays, with some weekend shifts as well.
