Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL is seeking a driven Part-Time Server to join our team. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service
• Display knowledge of the F&B menu
• Take guests’ food and/or drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
• Serve beverages and prepared meals accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol-beverage-control policies, including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish items as necessary or requested
• Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable
• Handle all cash and/or credit-card payments following standard operating procedures
• Keep tables, dining room, and workstations sanitized and organized
• Listen and respond to customer complaints
• Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by the manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements

• 1–2 years of food-service experience
• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
• Excellent customer-service skills
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Current Food Handler’s Certificate and BASSET Certificate

Pay

$9.00 – $11.00 per hour plus tips.
