About the role

Wohali Golf Course, located in Coalville, UT, is seeking a Part-Time Server to join their team. This position is seasonal and will last 6 months or less. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to all Guests upon seating
• Describes specials of the day to Guests; answers questions regarding menu items and offers suggestions when appropriate
• Takes food and beverage orders from Guests and delivers food promptly after preparation
• Follows up with Guests to ensure satisfaction; replenishes items as needed
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions; utilizes the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing; frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions; noise level is moderate

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals may be in English)
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Skills

• Knowledge of the POS system
