About the role

Inspired by the vibrant flavors of Spain, Italy, and France, Ludico is an exciting new restaurant concept from Tribeca Hospitality Group, bringing together fresh, vibrant, and transportive European flavors in an elevated yet approachable dining experience. We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Server to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong food and wine knowledge, and has a proven ability to lead service while creating memorable guest experiences in an upscale dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, prepared, and with a positive, professional attitude
• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable, attentive service
• Master our food and beverage menus, including preparation and ingredients
• Adhere to all service standards and protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Accurately take and enter orders; serve food and beverages swiftly and gracefully
• Uphold legal standards for responsible alcohol service – always check IDs
• Assist with running food, clearing tables, and maintaining the dining room
• Communicate effectively with teammates and management
• Respond quickly to guest needs and concerns; escalate issues to management when necessary
• Follow allergy protocols and food safety guidelines diligently
• Perform side work, cleaning duties, and contribute to opening/closing tasks
• Be available and responsive to emails, texts, and team communications
• Be prepared to fill in as a support or server role when needed

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant
• Deep knowledge of hospitality, food, and beverage service
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and bend for long periods
• Ability to go up & down stairs
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills (spoken and written)
• Flexible availability including holidays and late nights
• Excellent grooming and professional presentation
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures and DOH compliance
