About the role

The Event Server provides the best possible handling of the guest's needs by serving them in an efficient, professional, and hospitable manner. This role involves working in cooperation with the kitchen, bartenders, cast members, hosts, and all other employees to maintain a high level of guest service while delivering authentic service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up private events based upon the instructions of the manager.
• Follow all service standards in maintaining a high level of guest service.
• Break down all areas and ensure proper storage of all equipment.
• Understand and follow through with all policies and procedures of the special events and live demonstration department and the Key West Cooking School organization.
• Work as a team with all other servers and staff.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Two plus years of high-volume serving experience is required.
• Must complete a food safety certification program (e.g., food handler card) before serving food or alcohol.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing.
• Maintain necessary mandated food and drink certifications.
