About the role

The Bungalow Long Beach is a coastal lounge located across from the Long Beach Marina. As part of the The Bungalow brand, this venue offers a blend of vintage charm and contemporary atmosphere, serving signature cocktails and delicious bites.

Responsibilities

• Cater to guests making reservations
• Take drink orders from guests not reserved at tables
• Answer questions about food and beverage selection
• Describe each offering to guests
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
• Process guest payment accurately and promptly
• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
• Complete opening and closing side work
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• Some experience in a nightlife environment is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Able to work a flexible schedule including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain professional standards
• Working knowledge of POS systems
• Solid knowledge of spirits (liquors, beer, and wine)
• Impeccable cash handling skills
• Proper grooming standards, appearance, and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple guest requests and work in a high-paced environment
• Must be 21 years or older
