The Server plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, providing attentive, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service
• Serve room trays as needed
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
• Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure
• Uphold hospitality standards in all interactions with residents, guests, and team members

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and service-oriented
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Must receive the annual Flu vaccine (excluding medical or religious exemptions)
