What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests promptly and with genuine enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks with attention to presentation, quality, and timing.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the meal.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns and involve management when necessary.
- Maintain thorough menu and specials knowledge to make recommendations and upsell effectively.
- Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit transactions.
- Assist teammates as needed—helping reset tables, run food, or refill beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all guest and service areas.
- Complete all assigned side work and closing duties per company standards.
- Follow responsible alcohol service laws and company policies at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring
- A friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and timing.
- Salesmanship and enthusiasm for creating a great guest experience.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- A team-player mindset and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with state law.
- Previous serving experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and move quickly for up to 6 hours per shift.
- Bend, kneel, and lift trays, dishes, and bus tubs weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Maintain balance while carrying multiple items in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
