About the role

This position requires teamwork and consistent effort to deliver the best customer service and ensure guests have a pleasant and fun dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests
• Take orders accurately and relay them properly
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and a positive Meiers Creek Brewing Company experience
• Provide excellent customer service and address needs in a timely manner
• Upsell products when appropriate
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
• Complete side work, including clearing tables and general cleaning tasks

Requirements

• Custom service skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Previous experience as a server, bartender, waitstaff, or relevant role
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Strong teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle stress
• Active listening and attentiveness to customers
• Patience with customers

Physical Requirements

• Constant: Standing and walking, stooping, bending, and crouching
• Reaching at or below shoulder level
• Gross and fine manipulation using both hands
• Frequent: Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reaching above shoulder level
• Keyboarding and use of computer hardware
• Occasional: Lifting, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs with assistance
