Position Summary

Puttshack is seeking a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Server greets guests with a genuine smile, builds rapport, and ensures an enjoyable, quality dining experience. The role involves bringing the fun and setting the tone for celebration at every table.

Position Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure overall experience exceeds expectations
• Greet guests with a warm welcome and sincere smile
• Provide efficient, friendly service to tables within your section, including taking orders, answering questions about the menu, following steps of service, bussing and resetting the table, etc.
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
• Ensure all orders arrive in a timely manner
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
• Give directions and be a team player
• Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
• Complete opening and closing side-work duties where assigned
• Complete other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply
• Prior experience serving in a high-volume restaurant, including use of standard and hand-held POS devices
• Strong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness
• High standards of guest satisfaction
• Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
• Sense of urgency and ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
• Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
• Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds
• Work in confined, crowded space with high noise levels and various temperature levels
