Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide an engaging, personalized dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver items promptly
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and pairings
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned service areas
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, including bar, kitchen, and support staff, to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment by showing professionalism, reliability, and respect
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year of serving experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with restaurant service standards, point-of-sale systems, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
