Responsibilities

• Utilize proper food handling and food service techniques.
• Take meal and drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals.
• Maintain knowledge of all specials and general descriptions of all food items and explain them to residents or guests.
• Maintain assigned tables and surrounding areas in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance, and readiness.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assist with orientation and training of new food servers.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Set up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
• Perform and complete opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Assist in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization, and supplies placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.
