Responsibilities

• Takes meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Affirms resident/guest satisfaction with their meals.
• Maintains knowledge of all specials and general descriptions of food items and explains them to residents or guests.
• Maintains assigned tables and surrounding area in a clean, presentable, and ready state.
• Fulfills daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assists with the orientation and training of new food servers.
• Follows all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets-up and cleans the Dining Room while meeting or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
• Completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Aids in the directional flow, organization, and supply placement of dining room and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining is preferred.
