About the role
We have an opportunity for a Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage service team at the Sanibel Island Beach Resort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a timely manner with a professional friendly tone
- Provide attentive, efficient, friendly service following our SOP’s
- Willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Complete all opening side work to prepare yourself for the shift
- Complete all closing side work at end of shift
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance
- Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in only after being in full uniform
- Maintain cleanliness of all dining and patio areas
Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
- A High School Diploma/GED is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
