Responsibilities

• Provides timely, accurate, and friendly customer service
• Grows sales through repeat customers, increased sales, and profitability
• Makes informed suggestions for food and beverages
• Delivers ordered items and maintains dining room cleanliness
• Processes payments in a timely manner
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
• Demonstrates outstanding hospitality and service throughout each shift
• Takes food and beverage orders from customers
• Accepts and processes customer payments accurately following cash handling policies
• Completes opening, shift, and closing duties
• Delivers food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
• Suggestively upsells food and beverage items when opportunities exist
• Follows all sanitation and safety policies
• Maintains stocked server stations throughout the shift
• Ensures table maintenance during the dining experience
• Fills in as needed to ensure a smooth experience for customers and team members
• Maintains a safe working environment and reports safety issues immediately
• Holds valid state and local food handlers and alcohol certifications
• Adheres to all Genghis Grill policies and procedures
• Reports any non-routine situations to management
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be motivated with a high energy level
• Must be customer-centric, demonstrating a desire to serve
• Must be organized
• Must excel in high-pressure environments
• Must follow written and verbal instructions
• Must maintain a calm and friendly demeanor at all times
• Must have a working knowledge of menu items, including signature beverages
• Must be respectful to all customers, managers, team members, and vendors
• Must recognize common signs of intoxication and address situations following Genghis Grill standards
• Must maintain required state and local food and alcohol certifications
• Must be available for a variety of shifts, including opens, swings, closes, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lb
• Must be capable of constant walking, standing, stooping, and reaching in any direction
• Must have manual dexterity
