About the role

Haywire is seeking its next great server to join the team. The ideal candidate will create unique and special experiences for guests, shine silverware, and guide them through the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable dining experiences for guests
• Guide guests through the dining experience, recommending wines, whiskeys, or cocktails
• Be knowledgeable about the Farm to Fork stories behind the locally sourced menu
• Rooted in southern hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle various situations

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years serving experience; high-end casual or fine dining preferred
• Food, wine, & whiskey knowledge preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification & TABC Certification
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Passionate about creating unique Texas-sized experiences for guests
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Skills

• Knowledgeable about local and seasonal ingredients
• Wine, whiskey, and cocktail pairing expertise
• Excellent customer service skills
