Responsibilities

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service
• Guide guests confidently through the menu, wine, and spirits
• Make thoughtful recommendations based on each guest and their experience
• Speak knowledgeably about ingredients, preparation, seasonality, sourcing, and farming practices
• Understand the profiles and characteristics that distinguish wines and spirits
• Build genuine connections with guests
• Stay engaged with daily menu changes and continual food and beverage education
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and service teams
• Maintain strong standards for organization, cleanliness, and service

Requirements

• 5+ years of serving experience
• Advanced wine and spirits knowledge is required
• Strong understanding of classic and progressive wines
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, aperitifs, and digestifs
• Genuine knowledge and curiosity around ingredients, seasonality, modern agriculture, farming practices, and sourcing
• Experience in a restaurant culture with ongoing food and beverage education
• Natural hospitality and the ability to share knowledge without making service feel scripted
• Strong communication, awareness, and presence on the floor
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–12 hours), lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed, and bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
• Fast-paced restaurant environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to varying conditions, including heat, cold, and wet or slippery surfaces

Pay

Hourly Rate: $11.35 + $5.65 (tips) = $17.00 minimum per hour. Total Average Earnings including tips: $48.00–$55.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time position with flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
