About the role

The Server is responsible and accountable for providing guests with amazing food and premium ice cream. Bring the magic of our homemade ice cream to every guest through the creation of artistic quality, perfectly portioned ice cream treats. Deliver best in class hospitality and service. Learn our menu items and ice cream flavors to provide guests with first-hand knowledge of product details. Offer a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering the restaurant. Greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food, ice cream and service. Relays orders to service bar and kitchen through the POS point-of-sale computerized register system. Anticipate the guest’s needs and react before they need to ask. Presents guests check to the table and accepts a payment. Completes the proper checkout procedure. Participates in the cleaning and resetting of dining room tables. Ability to wipe down table tops, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats. Make products as fast as possible with precision and fantastic eye appearance—each one a work of art! Expedite orders from the window to the dining room. Coordinate all online orders to ensure they are complete and modifiers are correctly done. Make each guest feel important and special, especially kids!

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of food service experience.
• Proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Capable of performing all functions and meeting all qualifications standards for all hourly positions.
• Excellent people skills.
• Mobility and the ability to walk and stand during an entire shift or extended period of time.
• Knowledge of safety information regarding all materials used within the scope of work.
• Basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to hear well amongst loud background noise.
• Able to perform all job functions safely.
• Meets the company performance standards for the job.
• Participates in company orientation and training.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
