Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with amazing food and premium ice cream.
  • Create artistic quality, perfectly portioned ice cream treats.
  • Deliver best in class hospitality and service.
  • Learn our menu items and ice cream flavors to provide guest with first hand knowledge of product details.
  • Greet guests, answer questions, makes suggestions regarding food, ice cream and service.
  • Relays orders to service bar and kitchen through the (POS) point-of-sale computerized register system.
  • Anticipate the guest’s needs and react before they need to ask.
  • Presents guests check to the table and accepts a payment. Completes the proper check out procedure.
  • Participates in the cleaning and resetting of dining room tables.
  • Wipe down table tops, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats.
  • Make products as fast as possible with precision and fantastic eye appearance- each one a work of art!
  • Expedite orders from the window to the dining room.
  • Cook online orders to insure they are complete and modifiers are correctly done.
  • Offer a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering the restaurant.
  • Smile and make eye contact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of food service experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Capable of performing all functions and meeting all qualifications standards for all hourly positions.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Mobility and the ability to walk and stand during an entire shift or extended period of time.
  • Knowledge of safety information regarding all materials used within the scope of work.
  • Basic math and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to hear well amongst loud background noise.
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely.
  • Meet the company performance standards for the job.
  • Participate in company orientation and training.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
