Full-time position at a fine-dining restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ.

About the role

We're looking for talented and professional fine-dining servers to make real connections with our guests and provide the Fat Ox experience.

Responsibilities

• Make all guests feel comfortable and ensure they know you are there to take care of them
• Walk guests through the menu, paying special attention to ingredients and allergies
• Recommend dishes according to guests' wants and needs
• Suggest wine pairings, with emphasis on Italian wines
• Take food and beverage orders, enter orders in POS, and fire appropriately to ensure proper flow of meal
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests, issues, or complaints
• Keep dining spaces clean and presentable, marking and remarking when needed
• Exceed guest expectations by anticipating their needs and providing excellent communication
• Work with your server and support teams to ensure an exceptional dining experience
• Be available weekends and holidays, and fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant

Requirements

• Passion for great food and working in a team environment to serve others
• Excellent English communication skills
• At least 2 years of service experience in a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to refrain from smoking while working or on the premises
• At least 18 years of age
• Legal age to serve alcohol in Arizona
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
