Summary of Position
Responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and timely service to guests while delivering food and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their dining experience
- Accurately take guest orders and submit them through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner and ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
- Process credit cards and cash payments accurately
- Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company procedures
- Set tables, polish glassware, stock service areas, and complete side work as assigned
- Assist with bussing tables, running food, and seating guests as needed
- Support banquet, buffet, wedding, theater, and special event operations as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant and lodge operations
Position Requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with guests and team members
- Able to accurately handle cash transactions and reconcile payments
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Dependable, professional, and guest-focused
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly. Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
Experience
Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment preferred
Resort, banquet, or event experience is a plus
Pay Range
$9.00/hr + tips
