Requirements

• Must have ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
• Must have ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, management and peers.
• Must have ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.

Skills

• Customer service focused
• Knowledge of current offerings and specials
• Ability to carry and handle service trays safely and professionally
• Understanding of departmental service steps and ability to make appropriate suggestions
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of side stations and equipment
• Ability to restock service items as needed
• Ability to assist with dish washing and distribute clean dishes
• Attendance at in-service training and education sessions as assigned

$18 per hour

Schedule

20 to 40 hours a week. Weekends, holidays, and events as needed
