Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our team at the El Dorado Hotel + Kitchen. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the restaurant industry, experience in fine dining, and a preference for weekends and holidays.

About the Role

As a Server, you will be part of a high-performing team that values excellence in every aspect of our restaurant operations. You will guide guests through the menu, take food and beverage orders, and serve food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the menu
• Take food and beverage orders
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Process orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Ensure proper table setup and dress code
• Familiarize yourself with food and beverage menu items, their prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
• Adhere to state liquor regulations, company service and culture standards, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Experience in fine dining preferred
• Flexible schedule appreciated, weekends and holidays required
• Intimate knowledge of wine and craft cocktails highly valued

Qualifications

• Well-organized and focused
• Keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Skills

• Knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Familiarity with table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, and proper table setup and dress code
• Familiarity with food and beverage menu items, their prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation
