About the role

El Tapeo is located on the 9th floor of Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center, a pet-friendly hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois. It offers a modern Spanish kitchen with a simple, ingredient-driven menu.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in the restaurant to ensure a top-of-the-line, quality, and memorable experience.
• Take guests' orders and requests.
• Provide excellent service according to high-quality standards.
• Utilize a POS system (a plus).
• Have food handlers and TIPS or equivalent certifications.
• Achieve excellent people skills and assist guests with their questions and concerns.
• Show pride in organizational and time management skills.
• Work flexible hours, including various days and weekends.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as an PM Restaurant Server.
• Familiarity with utilizing a POS system (a plus).
• Food handlers and TIPS or equivalent certifications.
• Excellent people skills.
• Pride in organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule.
