About the role
Atria Senior Living's Coterie brand is seeking experienced Servers to join their team. This position offers competitive benefits including paid holidays and PTO, community rewards, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Takes food and beverage orders, retrieves and serves food & beverages according to service standards
- Courteously and efficiently serves residents and guests
- Collects payments when necessary
- Assists in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment
- Provides high level of customer service at all times
- Anticipates and responds to resident’s needs promptly
- Maintains knowledge of restaurant operations and dress code
- Serves meals and beverages as requested
- Maintains knowledge of and strictly abides by state liquor regulations
- Adheres to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
- Reviews daily menu with residents
- Maintains knowledge of and uses Toast and/or POS system
- Processes payments through the POS
- Accommodates new residents with menus, seating, and dining options
- Cleans and sanitizes dining room equipment and prepares for special events
- Completes side duties such as cleaning and restocking restaurant stock and supplies
- Attends Pre-Meal stand-up meetings
- Performs other duties as needed
Requirements
- Two (2) to three (3) years of experience as a server, preferably in fine dining
- Food handling certificate where applicable
- Certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
