About the role
Service of food and/or beverage to guests in a restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
- Take, input, and deliver food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale system
- Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner; explain specials and promotions
- Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Comply with all state, federal, and restaurant liquor policies regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Food Worker Card required
- Minimum of one year of previous serving experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
