About the role

Border Cafe in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking a Server to join their growing team. The restaurant is known for its quality food and service and is expanding daily.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service - Greet customers and present menus - Make suggestions based on customer preferences - Take and serve food/drinks orders - Arrange table settings - Keep tables clean and tidy at all times - Deliver checks and collect payments - Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff - Adhere to health department rules and customer service guidelines

Requirements

- Experience as a Restaurant Server - Experience with any ordering information system - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Team player - Good time management skills - Great interpersonal and communication skills - Active listening - Excellent physical condition - Customer-centric - High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
