About the role

The Peaks at Millcreek, a beautiful senior living community in Millcreek, UT, is seeking dedicated and motivated team members to join their team as Servers. Shifts are typically Afternoon from 4pm-7pm, with some help on weekends from 7am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with department personnel, as well as other departments within the community, to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assists in serving meals, as necessary, on a timely basis.
• Assists with inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies.
• Maintains food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, the dining room etc., as instructed.
• May assist Cook with preparing meals.
• Serves food in dining room, as instructed.

Qualifications

• A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Food handler's permit, or the ability to obtain.
