About the Role
30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is hiring Servers to join our front of house team. We're looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy connecting with Guests and working in a fast paced restaurant environment. Whether you have years of serving experience or are looking to build your skills, you'll be part of a team that works together to provide friendly, attentive service throughout every shift. 30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We're known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.
What You'll Do
- Welcome Guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Help Guests with menu selections and answer questions about food and beverages
- Accurately enter orders and communicate with the kitchen and bar teams
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Anticipate Guest needs and address concerns professionally
- Process Guest payments accurately
- Keep dining areas clean and organized
- Reset tables and complete side work, stocking, and opening or closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy shifts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous serving experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced restaurant environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
Pay & Schedule
- Fully trained Servers earn $2.13 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Sunday or Monday availability required
