Server Assistant - Shore Room (Full Time)

About the role

The Shore Room is North County’s first oceanfront bar, offering a refined coastal lounge atmosphere with breathtaking views of San Diego’s North Shore. Guests enjoy crafted cocktails and bites as the sun sets over the Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers with guest selections and present food and beverage preferences
• Roll silverware, clear tables, run food and drinks, and perform assigned side work
• Participate in cleaning measures and compliance trainings
• Attend meetings and assist new hires as needed
• Answer guest questions about The Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird Resort
• Assist other food and beverage outlets as business needs require

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• 1+ year experience in food and beverage
• Availability to work weekends
