Server Assistant PM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be passionate about food, wine, spirits, and coffee
• Represent the Tiny Boxwoods Productions brand
• Learn and be knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus
• Prepare dining room and patio for service
• Be able to successfully carry 2-3 plates at one time
• Possess tray carrying skills
• Run food and beverage items from kitchen to dining room
• Ensure all guests are well taken care of and needs are met
• Clear communication skills
• Perform regular table maintenance for guests throughout their meal
• Collect and polish all table settings for the operation
• Interact socially with guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Monitor quality control and guest satisfaction
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly
• Perform minimal food preparation to include but not limited to the cleaning and cutting of fruit
• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
• Follow side work procedures, keeping the restaurant properly cleaned and organized from open to close

Qualifications

• TABC Certified
• Texas Food Handlers certificate
• Outstanding guest service skills
• Able to memorize recipes and beverage lists
• Flexible availability in scheduling
• Able to multitask
• Able to work as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Working in a restaurant setting, on the floor with guests, in the kitchen and dish area
• Potential hazards include but are not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
• Frequent hand washing is required

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Requires ability to constantly move around in the restaurant
