Server Assistant - Lower Deck

Three Oaks Hospitality is looking for hardworking and dedicated server assistants to aid our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. The server assistant’s responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end‑of‑day clean‑up duties. To be successful as a server assistant, you should be well‑organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. An outstanding server assistant demonstrates effective communication skills and always provides excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver genuine hospitality and establish emotional connections with guests.
• Contribute to overall teamwork and success of the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
• Ensure interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Set and reset tables perfectly for guests in a timely manner.
• Sweep floors throughout the entire restaurant.
• Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately.
• Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Well‑organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to operate point‑of‑sale systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.
• Restaurant industry experience.
• Physical ability to remain standing for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 20 lb for short distances.
• Ability to work with varying noise levels.
