Server - Assistant Living Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all food is presented according to the facility's standards.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, understanding their specific dietary needs and preferences.
• Aid residents with menu selections, offering choices and taking special dietary requirements into account.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Careful and patient with a focus on providing exceptional service to senior residents.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
