SERVER ASSISTANT (FULL AND PART TIME)
About the role
Point Seven, located in mid-town Manhattan, is a cutting-edge, coastal-seafood driven restaurant inspired by the 70 percent of the world covered by water from award winning New York based Chef and Co-Owner Franklin Becker. Located in the iconic MetLife Building steps from Grand Central Terminal, the restaurant celebrates global coastal cuisines through refined techniques, exceptional sourcing, and a deep respect for the world’s oceans.
Responsibilities
- Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
- Delivers orders to the table.
- Busses tables.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
- Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Requirements
Three years of previous serving experience is required.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Pay
Fixed Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full and part time; Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
