Server Assistant (Busser)

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Server Assistant/Busser at L’Auberge Del Mar, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world! Our Bussers provide assistance to the servers to ensure our hotel guests, as well as our local community, have enjoyable and meaningful dining experiences. The F&B Busser is a highly visible role in which you directly impact the guests' stay and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to servers to ensure smooth service
• Set up and clear tables promptly
• Assist with food preparation and garnishing
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow staff members

Requirements

• Refined verbal communication skills
• Experience in taking care of guests in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Current Food Handlers Card
