Server Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Affirms that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operations.
• Knows the location of each diner’s chair in dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each plate with its corresponding ticket to serve the food.
• Sets tables according to Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared exactly as specified on the ticket.
• Corrects menu items with the chef if they do not meet the exact specification on the ticket.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
• Clears dishes from in front of guests after each course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including replacing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs at tables, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
• Assists the server when needed.
• Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.

Minimum Qualifications

• One month of related experience or training.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
