Server Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Server Assistant / Barback to join our team. This role assists in contributing to an exceptional dining experience by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, resetting table settings, and servicing items to guests such as water, teas, coffee, and condiments. A great Federal server assistant/barback can manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This member of the team pays attention to details, cares about performing quality work and contributing to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Sanitation of tables, seats, and resets to our standards with clean tablecloths, and table settings
- Buys dirty dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. to kitchen
- Refills waters, coffees, teas, etc.
- Buys out bread & butter to guests
- Polishes, cleans, stocks of smallwares and products needed to give great service
- Restaurant cleanliness – occasional dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Works well with others
- Food Safety Certification
