Server - Amicalola Falls Lodge

About the role

Coral Hospitality is seeking friendly and outgoing servers for their Cascades Restaurant at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The position offers $5.00 per hour plus tips, with excellent earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Checks assigned stations prior to opening for cleanliness of tables, chairs, floor, proper table set-up
• Performs all necessary opening and closing side-work as per side-work schedule/assignments
• Maintains awareness of daily specials, soups, and drinks
• Knowledgeable of all menu items, contents and preparation methods
• Able to answer questions about the menu in a direct, concise way
• Operates the point of sale (POS) equipment
• Follows all accounting procedures in the handling of all transactions
• Follows the standards for proper service, bussing and re-setting of tables
• Maintains assigned areas in a clean, organized manner
• Works closely with the kitchen to ensure guest satisfaction in presentation and quality of food
• Works closely with bartender to ensure guest satisfaction in presentation and beverage quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems is helpful
