About the role

We're seeking Servers for our Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch community in Bradenton, FL. The Server is responsible for all activities in the Restaurant and Hospitality Department under the direction of the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality. This role focuses on delivering quality service during meal times, ensuring compliance with special diets, and maintaining effective communication with Inspired Living on relevant matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop a positive customer service culture in the dining room through staff training.
• Evaluate the quality of service and create systems to maximize meal delivery efficiency while maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
• Ensure staff provides service that maintains good resident experiences during meal times.
• Circulate in the dining room to ascertain resident preferences and satisfaction with meals.
• Develop service systems that balance quality and speed of meal delivery.
• Maintain a clean dining room, including all equipment, walls, table tops, chairs, linens, and condiments.
• Ensure safe work practices and manage unsafe actions; comply with Safety Committee Standards.
• Assist with workplace injury investigations, return-to-work processes, and communication with care providers and Inspired Living when required.
• Foster teamwork, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, and take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities.
• Positively impact co-workers, residents, and visitors.

Requirements
