Sergeant

Position Overview

Sheriffs Point, LLC is seeking a Sergeant to work second shift (1400–2200, M–F).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs shift personnel to ensure a safe, secure environment for customers and employees.
• Oversees patrolling, monitoring premises, inspecting vehicles, developing incident reports, validating personnel entering the site/facility, and preventing access to restricted areas.
• Oversees the control of the entrance and exit of all employees, visitors, equipment, and material and exchange credentials.
• Maintains a log of all significant security events and incidents including actions taken during each shift.
• Reports attempts to penetrate the FBI sites, offices, evidence of theft or vandalism, safety, and fire hazards, or incidents to appropriate law enforcement and/or emergency response agencies in accordance with emergency instructions.
• Reports suspicious or unusual worker behavior amongst the FBI employees, visitors, or others through the Security Manager, or Direct Supervisor, to the FBI Site Security Manager and notes this activity in logs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• US Citizen.
• Current Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
• Fluently speaks, reads, understands, and writes the English language.
• Successfully passes a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical health/stamina requirements met and passes medical exam.
• Excellent skills using Microsoft applications and/or Google applications.
• Able to learn and open to learning new computer programs and applications.
• Completes approximately 40-80 hours of company provided training.
• Self-motivated.
• Professional communication (speak to people, not AT people).
• Willing to adapt and overcome all adversities to make the mission.
