Sequencing Operator - 2nd Shift (2:30PM-10:30PM)

Responsibilities

• Inspect modules and sequence them according to customer demands.
• Ship parts in alignment with the customer’s production schedule.
• Work with computer scanning devices and computer display readouts.
• Sequence racks based on customer demand printouts and rack numbers.
• Identify problems with completed modules and notify management.
• Load and unload trailers for shipping as required by the delivery schedule.
• Ensure rack sheets are attached to each cart as required by the customer.
• Set up and test new tooling, prototypes, and assist in maintaining current tooling.
• Report rack maintenance issues or broken parts to ensure racks meet customer requirements.
• Seek creative improvements in working conditions, processes, and capability, collaborating with peers.
• Maintain required records.
• Serve as a member of various committees as needed.
• Perform janitorial and cleaning duties.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Use M.E.S. System and BAAN to communicate with clients, scan labels, and print labels as required.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Works in a factory environment with noise from manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to moving equipment, parts, and risk of electrical shock.
• Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment.
• Occasionally lifts, carries, or moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
