About The Role
The Content Strategist is a vital client-facing role responsible for managing day-to-day deliverables, developing customized client strategies, and maintaining clear communication with both clients and internal teams. Working primarily with enterprise clients, the Strategist crafts holistic marketing strategies that seamlessly integrate Directive's services. This role involves creating compelling content campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring strategic alignment with client goals. The Content Strategist acts as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, optimizing ongoing initiatives, and fostering strong client relationships to support long-term growth and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SEO and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with clients and internal stakeholders effectively
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms
- Familiarity with industry frameworks like LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, and Share of SERP
- Agency experience, particularly in B2B tech or SaaS sectors, is preferred
- Ability to stay current with industry trends, including AI, automation, and emerging digital marketing practices
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content innovation
Responsibilities
- Create and implement customized marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and best practices
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to resolve strategic roadblocks and optimize campaign performance
- Develop creative briefs and content campaigns based on competitive and audience insights
- Apply industry-standard frameworks such as LTV:CAC modeling and Share of SERP to inform strategy
- Utilize data from analytics and CRM platforms to set and approve client goals
- Manage project execution by delegating tasks via Asana, coordinating with specialists, and maintaining timelines
- Build and nurture strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular updates
- Provide detailed bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, along with business review presentations
- Track progress against NSM goals, MRR retention, CSAT scores, and identify growth opportunities
- Seek opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and client referrals to expand service engagement
